Progress Not Perfection

I started exploring WordPress and making small basic changes to personalize my website over the past week as I waited for responses to my questions from someone who was helping me build my site as computer technology is far from being one of my fortes.  I was hoping to have my site up and running by Tuesday as that was the day of the book launch for Life Shifts, a collaborative book of true-life stories that changed everything in which I contributed two pieces.  I started aggressively working on my site Sunday morning before church and again when I got home as I was determined to finish a few key components for the book launch. As evening approached, I really began to stress and was on the verge of tears as I still couldn’t figure them out even after watching videos online about WordPress and looking it up on Google. So I stopped, took a few deep breaths and remembered my daily practice of asking for Divine guidance. As soon as I surrendered my fears and frustrations and asked for their help figuring out what I needed to do, the perfect solution popped in my head and I was able to figure it out! I was so excited and joyful and as always gave my gratitude for their assistance, another practice I do consistently throughout the day. Then I remembered progress not perfection. It doesn’t have to be perfect as long as I am showing up and taking action steps.
