Nourishing Dreams With Kindness

“My passion for living an all-natural lifestyle began in early 20’s when I saw a nutritionist, began reading books by Elson Haas, and participated in a weekly yoga class.  Several years later, I started reading books on aromatherapy and was introduced to Reiki. In my mid-30s, I wanted to become more involved in the alternative-health field, and although I still had many doubts, I started to consider a career in it. …. As I started learning more about myself, and connecting to my soul, the Angelic realm, and my spirituality, I decided I wanted to go back to school.

I shared with Michael, a close friend of mine, that I was taking aromatherapy classes at an online career school.  He was happy to hear this…He also offered to pay for my classes. I was stunned!….With further conversation, however, I graciously accepted the offer and agreed to complete the program and get good grades (which I did). ..

…As I progressed further in my studies, we started talking about my plans for the future and what I wanted to do with my certification once I completed it. He shared with me his visions and hopes to one day see me with my own storefront and product line. This vision is already coming true, as I’m just starting to make my aromatherapy products available to others, am in the process of earning my Doctorate of Natural Medicine degree, and plan on opening a healing center in the future.
I see that these were seeds planting my field of dreams…and nurtured by a special, generous friend who always believed in me”
~Excerpt from Planting the Field of Dreams

I am so grateful for the countless people in my life that have subtly and boldly  helped plant and nourish my field of dreams over the years from my parents to complete strangers. In the excerpt above, I share the generosity of a close and  special friend of mine nourishing my decision to go back to school and obtain my aromatherapy certification, half of one of an Angel  Messenger course, and plant visons of my future in aromatherapy.

I have been  and continued to be blessed  with an abundance of nourishment to turn these seeds and the seeds of some of my childhood dreams such as becoming a published author and helping others into blossoming flowers.  I am often still takeng by surprise by the many people who are willing  to  help me succeed  whether it be words of encouragement, giving feedback, or  a helping hand.  These acts of kindness I receive on a daily basis gives me hope and faith that there are caring, kind and compassionate people in this world like me who want to have a positive impact and make a difference in peoples lives.  We live in a world and  society focused on the distractions, negativity, chaos all around us that we often forget and overlook the small things that help support, uplift, and encourage us to grow, expand and succeed.  Just knowing there is one person who believes in you can make all the difference in the world.

What seeds are planted in your field of dreams? What is one small action step that you can take today to nurture and nourish these seedlings into buds? What is one small act of kindness that you can do today to help someone take a step closer to making their dreams come true?
